I was in the ASD and EBD class with Kathleen Cook yesterday at Augustana University, and I bought the book for my mom to read as well. I just wanted to send you a quick note of how amazing you are. You are such a strong and courageous person, and I am so thankful you are and were willing to tell your story. I have learned so much from reading the book, and even more from you speaking yesterday. It helps individuals like me to learn more ways to help students like Lauren, as this is something that I would like to specialize in as a speech language pathologist.
